Nepal was hit by a massive earthquake on 25th April 2015 and 12th May followed by many other aftershocks. It was for sure that Nepal was highly affected by this earthquake. But now the time has changed and the situation has got better. It has been more than 5 years since Nepal was hit by the earthquake.

Nepal is now marked as safe and sound to visit by The Government of Nepal, Ministry of culture, and Tourism, and civil aviation in its press release. Even the government of the UK, USA, and New Zealand have also stated Nepal as safe to visit among their citizens.

We are here with some of the information about safe and unsafe trekking routes in Nepal after the earthquake. Langtang Region, Manaslu Region, Ganesh Himal Regions, Makalu Regions, Rowling Regions, and few places of Everest Region are only the trekking regions highly affected by the earthquake.

Also, the monsoon rain has caused landslides in these regions which have blocked the way. It is reported that a team is heading towards the Lantang trekking region to know about the possibility to get there. Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

Ghorepani poon hill trek is one of the most preferred short trekking routes in Nepal. The scenic views which can be observed all along the route make the trek more pleasurable and enjoyable. Annapurna Circuit Trek

Opened in the 1980s for trekking, Annapurna circuit trek is a famous route for circuit trekking because of its enrichment in natural beauties, cultures, floras, and faunas which can be observed during the trek. The trail goes through the Marshyangdi River followed by many mountains all over the trek.

The trail passes through one of the longest passes- Thorang La pass(5416m) offering you a crystal clear view of mountains like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Annapurna Ist (8091m) Mt. Dolpo Region Trekking

The biggest and remotest region of Nepal- the Dolpo region is situated between the Tibetan plateau and the Dhaulagiri Himalayan range. This region was made free to visit only after 1989. Starting from Jugal village, this route will surely fascinate the trekkers by its natural, biological, and cultural beauty.

Going through the higher passes, this route is found to be more adventurous and expensive. We have to pass more than three high passes above 5000 meters. But relax, the route is worth risking.
