Manakamana Temple Tour is a famous tour among the Hindus because it takes them to Manakamana Devi, who is a goddess that will fulfill their wishes. Many devotees have their wishes fulfilled by her. Manakamana is not only her name; it is the name of a place. Manakamana is a holy place, centrally located, to which the devotees from the northern side, western side, and eastern side, head off, to be blessed, to be protected, and to pray that their wishes would be fulfilled in the upcoming days.
To have your wish fulfilled is the greatest thing; that’s why, Nepalese and Indians visit this temple at least once, in their lifetime, some visit every year, and the highway and the stairs that lead you to Manakamana are smooth, easy, and perfect for a traveler, who wants to know the width of the Trishuli River, the volume of its water, the remote villages that lie outside Kathmandu and of course to know how the Chinese engineers constructed the highway by the river, digging out the hills and valleys, covered with vegetation, making the impossible possible, creating a link between Kathmandu and most of the regions of Nepal, giving Kathmandu from a basic necessity to engineered goods to medical supplies, giving sustainability to the life of the people, who live in a capital. All these in one sense comprise Manakamana Temple Tour.
Altitude and Manakamana go side by side and the district where it is located is called Gorkha, another name of bravery in the Nepali language. Manakamana is at the top and below is Kurintar, from where the cable car runs and connects the two points. Walking to the top has become a thing of the past because of that cable car and the journey from Kathmandu to Kurintar covers a distance of 104 km. If you are a person who is concerned with the digit of height then you will reach the height of 258 m when you are at Kurintar and at 1302 m when you are at Manakamana temple. From this height, you also see mountains, distant mountains, namely Manaslu, Himalchuli, and Annapurna Mountains. Manakamana Pilgrim Tour is a linking factor.
Drive from Kathmandu to Kurintar (3 hours on a tourist bus/private vehicle). Kurintar to Manakamana Temple (10-15 minutes on a cable car). Visit the temple and return to Kurintar Drive back to Kathmandu
