Overview
Since time immemorial, Pathibhara Pilgrim Tour has fascinated the Hindu Nepalese in a usual way as any other famous pilgrim tour attracts its devotees. Pathibhara is a female deity, who fulfills the wish of a devotee. Hundreds of devotees flock to Pathibhara every day, and in the festive season, this place is packed with people, who have come from different parts of Nepal, as well as from India.
From the religious point of view, Pathibhara will have a significant place in the hearts of the Nepalese because it represents female Shakti, that is, the power of a female goddess. To please her, devotees offer the sacrifice of animals. This may be disturbing to outsiders, but the sacrifice of animals is looked at with a certain degree of flexibility by the Hindu community.
Prior to seeing this, you will find the Pathibhara region located in the most beautiful area in eastern Nepal, blessed with spectacular landscape and Himalayan peaks, scaling to 7000 m, in the midst of a wide variety of floras, including different species of rhododendrons.
Pathibhara Pilgrim Tour will also create an opportunity for your searching eye to gaze on the mountain that is known by the name of Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain. And it is best to do this tour in March, April, May, September, October, November, and December. You will also know about the outline of the culture of Limbu as you pass through the villages and spend your nights. The monasteries that you visit in Olangchung Gola are beautiful, and the waterfall that you see at Sawa and the pond of Timbung are awe-inspiring. The ecosystem of this region has been well-preserved, and you will also find it intact as you see different species of birds. Walking in this region is exciting.
