Furthermore, you need to pay for the services of electricity which costs about Nrs 50 to 200 per hour. Drinking Water

Access to clean drinking water is generally available along the trek, but it is advisable to use water purification methods to ensure safety. You can buy bottled water at teahouses, but it is more environmentally friendly to use a water purifier or purification tablets. Some teahouses provide boiled or filtered water, which is a safer option than drinking untreated water from streams.

In the lower altitudes, the water resources are healthy, with plenty of options for drinking water sources. However, as the trekkers start climbing trek, the water resources start diminishing. The major sources were tap water and handle pumps, which are ineffective for drinking.

There are natural springs of water that are amazing for resting and rejuvenation. However, they are not ideal for drinking.
