We retired couple (husband and wife) embarked on Everest base camp trek with a helicopter return trek from the local trekking company. The manager of this company Mr. Ganesh answered all our questions promptly before the trek. Once we were convinced, we booked this trek with this agency.
We booked a private journey along with their local Guide Buddhi Tamang and porter Suman. They were super helpful and experienced local manpower. Every moment of our journey was incredible. The view from Kala Pather and Everest View Hotel was stunning. After we summited Kala Pathar view point returned back to Gorakshep and after having breakfast, we took a helicopter flight back to Lukla from there. Due to the windy weather, our helicopter picked up us 2 hours later from Gorakshep.
After arriving in Lukla, the next day, we took a regular flight back to Ramechhap by small airplane and then drove back to Kathmandu on the same day.
It was also a great farewell dinner in Kathmandu which was hosted by Glorious Himalaya Company after the trek. Thanks to the entire team of Glorious Himalaya for your great management.
