In October 2019, I trekked to Mount Everest Base Camp with my colleagues. The trek was enjoyable as well as challenging. Around Gora Shep and when climbing Kala Pathar, the altitude above 5000 meters made it difficult for me. The entire hike was amazing, and I relished every second of it.
I have to mention the organization that put everything together; it was the Glorious Himalaya Team, a tiny but highly competent local tour operator you can trust. The guide was very competent, and both guide and the company management showed leadership qualities when one of our team members needed an emergency airlift from Gorakshep. I truly appreciate the support of Glorious Himalaya company for this wonderful trip. I’ll be visiting Nepal soon!
