Our Island Peak expedition with Glorious Himalaya Trek was an unforgettable adventure, made possible by the exceptional guidance of our guide Lakpa and the dedicated team at Glorious Himalaya. Summitted Island Peak on the 4th of October, 2023, was a monumental achievement, thanks to Lakpa’s extensive experience and thorough instruction in mountaineering skills. Throughout our journey from Chhukung to the summit, we were consistently supported and managed by the attentive Glorious Himalaya team.
The meals prepared by local cooks at the base camp were delicious and nourishing, providing the energy we needed for our ascent. This expedition truly marked a lifetime adventure for us, and we’re planning our next adventure with Glorious Himalaya Trek, aiming for Mera Peak.
