It was an awesome Everest base camp trek in the month of December with the Glorious Himalaya. It was a bit cold in the month of December but the views were crystal clear and the flow of tourists was low. We couldn’t imagine the sunrise view from the Kalapather that we had experienced on this trek. If you are going on this trip don’t miss it.
Due to our limited time, we spent only 2 nights in Namche bazaar for acclimatization. After Namche, we continued the hike to Base camp without acclimatizing in Dingboche. Normally, trekkers stay two nights at Dingboche for better acclimatization but we skipped it due to our short holiday time.
Our guide Siva was superb and porter Anis was superhuman. Even at the high altitude, he carried our belongings easily. Hats up to your hard work man. Through this review, we would like to suggest all the trekkers who are hiring guides and porters, please make them happy by giving some tips at the end of the trek in Lukla as they work very hard in the high altitudes to make your trip successful.
