Recently, our 4 family members did the Ghorepani Poon hill trek with the help of Glorious Himalaya company. Due to our limited time and we were looking for an easy trek, we booked this trek.
We were warmly picked up by the company representative from Kathmandu airport and transferred to our hotel at Thamel. The next day we met our city tour guide Ramesh and we explored the cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu. Another day, our trekking guide Roshan escorted us to Pokhara for our short but sweet Ghorepani trek.
During our Ghorepani trek, we were accompanied by our familiar guide and porters. On this trek, we found it a bit difficult to walk from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani due to the uphill steep walk. However, it was worth walking through the beautiful rhododendron forests with some mountain views.
On our second day hike, we visited Poon hill early morning for the sunrise and panoramic mountain views. It was the most important day of this trip from where we captured unforgettable moments in our frame.
To sum up, it was a momentous short trip in Nepal and we are totally satisfied with the services of our guide and porters. Once again, thanks to the Glorious Himalaya team for making our family trip a pleasure and smooth.
