We were a group of 4 friends from Australia and booked Manaslu trek with Glorious Himalaya Company. We did this trek on April 2022. All of us really enjoyed this trek and everything went perfectly as per our plan. Guide Bodhi and porters Ram and Rabin were friendly and helpful. We found our guide Bodhi knowledgeable, experienced, and well performed.
This company took all the responsibility from airport pick up to departure. We started our journey from Kathmandu to Soti Khola drive by a local bus, which was an excellent experience that we gained. Traveling to different places doesn’t mean only exploring the beauty of nature but also experiencing their living style and tradition. Therefore, we are fond of experiencing new things locally.
From Soti Khola, we started our hike and went through Machha Khola, Deng, Namrung, Syala, and Sama Gau. And we ended our trek at Dharapani from where we took a local jeep drive to Besisahar and then to Kathmandu by bus. Before Larkya La pass, one of our Friends – Cinderella had some AMS problems but eventually, she completed her journey with the help of our guide Bodhi. He is really a professional guide who knows very well about mountain sickness.
The view from Syala and Larkya la was superb. We really had momentous moments throughout this journey. Thanks to the team of Glorious Himalaya who made our trip successful.
