We were a group of 6 friends from California and booked 12 days Everest Base Camp trek with the Glorious Himalaya Trekking team. We had booked hotel accommodations in Kathmandu by ourselves.
Honestly, our EBC trip was well organized by Glorious Himalaya. Our guide Ram and porters, Sabin, Dorje and Nima were very helpful, experienced, and trustworthy. Our 12 days trek was properly guided by our guide Ram and he provided lovely teahouses throughout the trek. The meals at teahouses were delicious. Most of the time, we ate Nepalese food such as Daalbhat, momo etc during the trekking.
Our friend Eva got altitude sickness at Namche Bazar and guide Ram gave her some medicine and she got well after two days of rest at Namche. Apart from this incident, everything was perfect throughout the trek. We had excellent weather at EBC and Kalapathar viewpoint.
