A peace of heaven on earth

By Glorious Himalaya on February 16, 2023 in

Last November, I did the Everest base camp trek with the guide Shiva through this agency. It was my second trip to Nepal after Annapurna Base Camp Trek in 2017.
We started our journey at 2:30 am from Kathmandu to Manthali Airport by tourist van and we flew from Manthali to Lukla airport. We begin our trek from Lukla to Phakding then the next day we hiked to Namche Bazar where we stayed 2 nights for acclimatization. On our rest day at Namche, we hiked to Khumjung and Khunde villages for the day trip. Thereafter, we trekked via Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp. After visiting EBC, the next day we hiked up to Kalapather early in the morning. Kalapather was the highest point of our trek. The view from the vintage Kalapather viewpoint was astounding. It was one of the best moments of my life.

Once again, I would like to thank all the members of Glorious Himalaya who assisted me throughout my Nepal journey.
