In the month of April 2021, I did 12 days Everest base camp trek including Kalapather with my guide Roshan from Glorious Himalaya. I had such an amazing trip to the Everest base camp. The trip to Mount Everest base camp was worth it and the service provided by this company was impressive.
In the beginning, my guide Roshan picked me up from Hotel Thamel Park and transferred me to the Ramechap airport for the thrilling Lukla flight. After we landed at Lukla airport, took a short tea break and started our hike to Phakding. Then after, we hiked through Namche, Tengboche, Dinghoche, and Lobuche, and then to Everest Base camp and back to Lukla accordingly.
I felt a bit cold at Lobuche and Gorakshep during the night due to the high elevation. Local teahouses accommodations provided by this agency were superb for night stays. Probably, the best place that I have spent in my entire trek was the dining hall at the teahouses. I use to spend hours of hours inside the dining room with my guide to avoid the cold of the mountains. My guide Roshan was very helpful and cheerful.
The most important day of this trek was the 9th day – the day that we hiked from Gorakshep to Kalapather for the unreal sunrise and mountain views. That was the moment that I cherished with my Everest base camp journey.
Overall, it was an amazing journey in my life. Thanks to the team of Glorious Himalaya who made it happen and my big plus goes to the guide Roshan who always supported me during my entire trek.
