Tamang Heritage Trek with GHT

By Glorious Himalaya on April 15, 2016 in

I booked this trek because I wanted an original and rather unspoilt natural and cultural experience, and, as I was constrained with my time (I had only 7 days, two of which were for going back and forth), I did not want to be concerned about finding out about organisational things such as getting to the Langtang region finding a place to stay etc, so I decided for this fully planned and organised package.

Well, saying that everything turned out exactly as I had hoped for is not enough. There was not a single day, when I had to worry about any (organisational or other) matters. Starting with being picked up at the airport, followed by a transfer to the Langtang region the next day, the actual trek, being brought back to my hotel in Kathmandu and finally being accompanied to the airport on the day of my departure, everything was very smoothly and comfortably organised and I always felt assured by the caring attention of the whole team. Thus I could completely focus on the marvels of nature of this great country.

During the trek I was accompanied by two guides, Ram and Aasha, who tried to explain the surroundings and answer my questions, whenever possible and also did everything to make this whole trip an astonishing and memorable experience. Without any doubts I would always recommend GHT (Glorious Himalaya Trekking Team) and this trip to anyone interested in exploring the nature and culture of quite untouched places in the border region between Nepal and Tibet. I am convinced that this will not have been the last time that I visited Nepal and for the next time I already know which agency to choose.

Thanks for this amazing trip and for sharing a part of your country with me.
